That's right Doc, plenty going on.
Just don't want to make KUFs (Kinneil Underground Forum) available to all!!!
But seriously, having had a look through the other band forums they're all pretty quiet and if you discount the FCBA contest threads there's really nothing of any substance on any of them.
Is this symptomatic of brass banding slipping down peoples priority listing. I'm sure there'll gasps of horror and disgust and cries of "oor band is in great shape" but it's a fact folks that there are quite a few bands missing quite a few players.
How many contests would we have in Scotland in a year if guesting was not allowed - not a lot methinks. I know that people will say that's to cover holidays but that is just a cover in itself.
Guess I'll just hide in a corner and await the slingshots and arrows then.

Wow, what a reply Jim, wish I knew what it had to do with the subject but at least it was Topical in the sense of banding. If you need guests, we've got loads, three extra cornets, extra bone, horn, couple of basses, a euph and more percussion than the drum shop. However, seems to be the Co who are Kings of the Guest list. Alison Bonar and I had a laugh that if the Co hadn't supplied the number of guests they did to other bands last Saturday they could have entered themselves, even their conductor was in the audience. However, to make my point, there's more to a website than "Forum" ---- Where's the news etc............. ? For instance, it took my spy on your "KUF" to tell me the make up of Friday's Concert !!!

But Dave, your initial message related to the forum being quiet and that's what I was replying to. So now you know what it had to do with the subject. I'll try to put explanations in from now on as my command of the English language seems to be letting me down.
The last couple of paragraphs were put in to try to elicit some response and maybe get a few new threads started.
A spy - well what a surprise that must be to us all.
